Da es kaum Ido-Lehrbücher gibt, erzeugt LingoBear Lesetexte zu den Themen, die du wählst — von der Geschichte der Plansprachen bis zu Alltagstexten.
Ido ist eine Plansprache, die 1907 als reformierte Variante des Esperanto entstand. Der Name bedeutet auf Esperanto Nachkomme. Es sollte einige als unpraktisch empfundene Merkmale des Esperanto verbessern, etwa indem es auf die Sonderbuchstaben verzichtet. Geschrieben wird es im lateinischen Alphabet ohne Diakritika.
