Interlingue ist eine Plansprache, die der baltendeutsche Sprachforscher Edgar de Wahl 1922 unter dem Namen Occidental veröffentlichte; 1949 wurde sie in Interlingue umbenannt. Sie strebt nach einem natürlich wirkenden, europäisch geprägten Wortschatz. Geschrieben wird sie im lateinischen Alphabet. Mit LingoBear lernst du sie durch Lesen mit sofortiger Wortunterstützung.
Berühmt ist die Regel von de Wahl, ein System, mit dem sich abgeleitete Wörter regelmäßig aus den Verbstämmen bilden lassen und dabei international vertraut bleiben.
