El limburgués (Limburgs) es un continuo lingüístico germánico occidental hablado por unos 1,3 millones de personas en las provincias de Limburgo neerlandesa y belga y en zonas vecinas del Bajo Rin alemán. En los Países Bajos está reconocido como lengua regional según la Carta Europea de las Lenguas Regionales o Minoritarias. No hay un único estándar: el maastrichts, el sittards, el roermonds y otros difieren notablemente.
La mayoría de las variedades del limburgués tienen un acento tonal léxico: las palabras pueden cambiar de significado según cuál de los dos tonos lleven.
