El fiyiano (Vosa Vakaviti) es una lengua austronesia de la rama oceánica, propia de Fiyi, donde es cooficial con el inglés y el hindi de Fiyi. La forma literaria estándar se basa en el dialecto de Bau. Lo hablan unas 640.000 personas, aunque el panorama lingüístico de Fiyi es muy multilingüe, con unos 300 dialectos locales.
El fiyiano usa el alfabeto latino, pero las letras b, d, g, q representan consonantes prenasalizadas (mb, nd, ŋg, ŋ-mb en AFI) y la letra c suena como la «th» inglesa de «this».
