El nauruano (Dorerin Naoero) es la lengua austronesia autóctona de Nauru, uno de los países más pequeños del mundo, con unos 9.000 hablantes en la isla. Es la única lengua oficial de Nauru junto al inglés. Los lingüistas suelen clasificarlo como una lengua micronesia con una notable divergencia respecto a sus vecinas; podría formar una rama independiente dentro del micronesio.
El nauruano tiene un sistema de cuatro vocales con longitud fonémica, un inventario de consonantes que incluye series labiovelares y palatalizadas, y un sistema de pronombres que distingue el «nosotros» inclusivo del exclusivo, junto a los números singular, dual y plural.
